	General Membership Meeting with US Senator John Cornyn Senator Cornyn thanked Central Texans for supporting America’s Soldiers and their Families. “For some (Americans), the ongoing war in Afghanistan is something they read about in the newspaper or hear about on TV. For families in Fort Hood and the surrounding communities ... it's something far different."

2011 National Meeting Photos
	Sunday Morning We began our four days in DC with the 27th Annual Army 10 Miler.
	Sunday Afternoon General Pete Chiarelli, as the Army's Vice Chief of Staff, hosted our chapter at his home.
	Monday Morning The Opening Ceremony: we were welcomed by our association's National President, General Retired Gordon R. Sullivan, USA and by the Secretary of the Army, The Honorable John McHugh.
	Monday Evening The Presidents Reception on Monday Evening, a chance to be— albeit briefly—with our Army leadership.
