May 21Board of Governors Meeting - 5:30 p.m.. Our Chapter's Board of Governors will meet today for its fourth Board meeting of the 2007-2008 Program Year at the Harris Community Center in Belton.

June 12Annual Chapter Scholarship Awards Luncheon - 11:30 a.m.. Today, we will host a luncheon at the Fort Hood Catering and Conference Center and present $1,000 scholarships to the winners of our 2008 Higher Education Scholarship Competition.

June 14The 233rd Birthday of America's Army. Our chapter joins with Fort Hood in celebrating the 233rd birthday of America's Army. Since its birth on 14 June 1775 - more than a year before the Declaration of Independence — the United States Army has played a vital role in the growth and development of our Nation. Soldiers have fought more than 10 wars, from the American Revolution through the Cold War, the Gulf War, to the current War on Terrorism. This 233nd Birthday is a recognition of The Army's history, traditions, and service to the Nation, a Call To Duty, 233 Years of Service to Our Nation.  At various Fort Hood locations.

June 30General Membership Meeting & Election of 2008-2009 Chapter Leadership - 6:00 p.m.. We will hold our third general membership meeting of the 2007-2008 Program Year tonight at the Killeen Civic and Conference Center - - with Command Sergeant Major Neil Ciotola, Fort Hood's senior Noncommisisoned Leader as our principal speaker. Mark your calendar. This will be a "wow" event. More data to follow.

July 15Executive Committee Meeting - 11:30 a.m.. We hold our first Executive Committee (EXCOM) meeting of the new program year today; more data to follow.

Aug. 20Board of Governors Meeting - 5:30 p.m.. We hold our first Board of Governors meeting of the 2008-2009 program year today; more data to follow.

Sept. 16Executive Committee Meeting - 11:30 a.m.. Our Executive Committee (EXCOM) meets today; more data to follow.

Oct. 5The Army's 24th Annual Ten-Miler - *:00 a.m.. We begin our AUSA National Meeting week in DC with the Army Ten-Miler today. Race begins at 8:00 a.m. from the Pentagon - winds its way through the Federal District and finishes where it began. Some will run; many will watch.

Oct. 6AUSA's 51st annual National Meeting - Opening Session at 9:00 .am.. The first day of our association's 51st annual National Meeting. The opening session begins at 9:00 a.m. and events continue throughout the day and early evening. This first day will be capped off with the National President's Reception. Much more data to come - but mark your calendars now and plan to attend.  Washington Convention Center, Washington, DC.

Oct. 7AUSA's 51st annual National Meeting. The second day of our association's 51st annual National Meeting. Much more data to come.

Oct. 8AUSA's 51st annual National Meeting. Our third and final day at AUSA's 51st annual National Meeting. A full day, and capped off with the formal General George Catlett Marshall Reception and Dinner, with a distinguished citizen being presented with the Association's highest honor - the George Catlett Marshall Medal.
